The video has captured a terrifying moment when a bull charged at a crowd of people inside a bull ring in a Peruvian town.

The animal managed to break free from restraints before the fight and entered the ring dragging a woman.

The video shows many people parading around the ring, dressed in brightly-coloured clothing. They are cheered on by spectators as they walk past, when the festivities are interrupted the moment the bull charged at crowd.

The bull ploughs into the woman, trampling her to the ground and then dragging her across the ring, since the woman was entangled in the rope which was tied to the bull’s neck.

The spectators can be heard shrieking and screaming as the woman is dragged across the ring, while the rest of the group run for their lives.
