Greek farmers decided to intensify their protest actions during yesterday’s meeting warning of setting more blockades throughout Greece.

They also said that they will not meet with Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras on Thursday, while they also ask for the forming of an interparty committee which will examine their requests, demanding also their presence at the committee’s meetings.

The farmers warn of intensifying their protest actions and threaten to reach Athens on their tractors, while on Monday they will decide on the points and the duration of the blockades.

Speaking to private TV channel MEGA, the president of farmers’ initiative clarified that there was no meeting scheduled to take place between the farmers and the Prime Minister.
