But when you are 6 months old and you are taken to a political rally, listening to US Presidential Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders is not your top priority…Your only priority at this stage of your life is quite simply feeding. That’s what Elle Bradford, a staunch Sanders supporter found out when she decided to take her 6-month old daughter to a rally Cleveland. Amid the cheering and shouting during the rally, her daughter Harper wanted to feed, so the mother started breastfeeding her among the loud crowd. Bradford continued to feed Harper whilst continuing to cheer for Sanders. The moment was captured by a photographer and went viral on social media. The mother wrote a post about her 15 minute fame on her Facebook profile, which received thousands of likes within a short time. Bradford describes herself a longtime public breastfeeding advocate and said that the Bernie Sanders thanked her after his speech for doing what a mother should do and take care of her child.
