Woman gives birth to her child in muddy Idomeni

The terrible conditions under which the refugees are forced to live are getting worse day by day

Newsroom March 11 10:17

More than 14,000 refugees and immigrants are forced to bury their hopes for a better future into the muddy ground of Idomeni camp. The terrible conditions under which men and women of all ages – even infants – are forced to live are getting worse day by day.

International media agencies, though, captured the miracle of life: A woman has just given birth of her child in a small and dirty tent, an elder woman holds the infant tightly outside the tent in the cold while a man pours some water on the baby.
