Gun fire was exchanged during a police car chase on Pentelis Avenue late Friday night. The pursuit took place near the northern Athens suburb of Chalandri when a special motorcycle police unit signalled a vehicle with three people on board to pull over for a routine check. The car refused to comply and attempted to escape. The vehicle was eventually stopped and the three men arrested. No one was injured during the gun shots.
