European Parliament President Martin Schulz met with Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras as part of Schulz’s unofficial visit to Athens, just before he leaves for Cyprus this evening.
According to information, during their meeting they discussed the refugee crisis and the Cyprus issue, while they also discussed the participation of the European Parliament in the monitoring of Greece’s negotiations with its lenders.
Shortly after 6pm he met with PASOK president Fofi Gennimata, while afterwards he would meet with Potami leader Stavros Theodorakis.
