SETI says aliens could live on red dwarf stars (video)

Will we ever find them

Newsroom March 31 01:56

The Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence Institute (SETI) might have no tangible success for the existence of other life forms so far, but scientists have not been discouraged and are continuing their search. Thus, it announced a new 2-year program for the exploration of extraterrestrial radio signals. The new program will focus on a cluster of 20,000 red dwarf stars by using the Allen Telescope Array on the Hat Creek Radio Observatory in California. The Institute’s attention gravitates towards the red dwarves because scientists believe alien life forms could live near or around hot planets. In addition to this, the distance from red dwarf stars where life can be sustained is much smaller compared to a brighter star like the Sun. While exoplanets are being discovered more frequently it is estimated that a 15-50 percentage of red dwarves could be inhabitable. Scientists believe that the fact that red dwarves burn out much slower than brighter stars this increases the time in which extraterrestrial forms can evolve. Maybe Hillary Clinton can shed some light on this as she promised by opening up area 51, if she gets elected as President of the US.
