In a brief statement to the German press, Wednesday, German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s spokesperson Seffen Seibert said ‘a haircut of the Greek dent is impossible for legal reasons’. Zeibert also called for the immediate completion of the review of the Greek adjustment program, adding that the German position on the issue remained unchanged.
