Police reported they found a 4-year old girl dead in her house in the area of Megara, west Attica, Wednesday afternoon. The girls, a child of a drug addict couple, was reportedly strangled to death by her aunt who was baby-sitting her, according to a source. The 45-year old aunt was found in a pool of blood next to the dead girl and was immediately rushed to the Thriasio hospital where she is in critical condition. The 45-year old woman, who was reportedly suffering from psychological problems, was a drug addict and attempted to commit suicide by slashing her veins in her leg, neck and wrist, after chocking the girl. Police are conducting investigations to find the exact causes of the tragedy.
