Olympiakos football club added another Greek league title to their illustrious history, bringing their total to 43! The club, which has dominated Greek football for the past two decades, celebrated their title before their home crowd at Georgios Karaiskakis football ground in Piraeus with a 5-0 win against lowly placed Kaloni of Mytilene. After the match ended the party started with the club’s President Vangelis Marinkais taking centre stage at one point and addressing the elated fans. ‘Can you handle another 15 years of consecutive titles’, he responded to the night’s host and TV personality, Christos Ferentinos. At 9.30 the football pitch filled with the youngsters of Olympiakos’s football academy. Fireworks on the pitch and songs and celebrations on and off the pitch were the order of the night!
