The ancient city of Corinth was located in a strategic position and was the most important trade hub in ancient Greece. It was the main rival of Athens, which eventually gained the upper hand. The team of ‘Fab Drone’ produced a beautiful video showing the exact area that the ancient city was spread across. The aerial footage show the expanse controlled by the city, which included east of modern day Corinth prefecture and north-west to the Argolis prefecture. Ancient Corinth controlled the crucial Isthmus straits, the passage of sea between the Peloposnesian peninsula and mainland Greece, connecting the Aegean with the Ionian Sea in the west.
