The funeral of the 5-year-old boy who was killed in Kozani, when he was attacked by two Rottweilers on Easter Sunday, was held on Tuesday morning at the cemetery of Aghios Georgios in Kozani.

The lawyer of the owner of the two Rottweilers, Nikos Kouris, told MEGA TV channel that he met with his client on Monday night at the house where the tragic incident took place in order to have a complete view of what has happened.

As he said, “the dogs were kept in the semi-basement, while the guests were on the ground floor. Next to the door of the semi-basement there is a smaller door about 60-70 cm from which the dogs are coming in and out. The door is closed with a wooden plate from inside, while from the outside it is closed with a metal girder. The door opens only if someone removes this metal girder,”.

“Apparently the 5-year-old got out of the house without anyone noticing him, we don’t know exactly what happened and they heard the boy screaming. The mother and child had visited the house many times. My client is devastated. No one knows what exactly happened and the dogs were in the yard. When the child was transferred to the hospital, my client told me, the metal girder, which prevents the door from opening, was removed.”
