A group of hooded extremists attacked riot police throwing Molotov cocktails obviously aiming to break up the protest rally.

While the demonstrators reached Parliament at Syntagma square, the hooded extremists attacked again with Molotov cocktails.

Riot police seized the opportunity and struck back aiming to scare the demonstrators. One person was arrested.

The issue was also raised in the plenary session by Communist Party of Greece (KKE) and asked the government to examine the fact that police attacked demonstrators who were not connected to the incidents.
