An attempt to ‘show off’ Russia’s military hardware did not go according to plan, when a faulty door handle came off a military jeep while Russian President Vladimir Putin was ready to inspect it. The incident, which was captured on video by Russian news site ‘Life News’, happened as Putin was ready to inspect an array of military vehicles outside his residence. Lieutenant Alexander Shevchenko, who was showing the vehicles to the Kremlin leader came to the aid of Putin when he could not open the door of a jeep, but when the general pulled the handle it came away.
