German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble said Greece is recovering faster than expected and expressed his optimism over the country’s prospects.
Speaking at a conference on the sustainability of Germany’s fiscal condition, he said that now he is more optimistic over Greece’s economic growth.
He added, though, that Greece needs a more effective public administration.
He also stated that the crisis may have brought anti-popular fiscal decisions but underlined that this was the right way to achieve budget stability.
