The mayor of Rhodes, Fotis Hatzidiakos, hounoured a couple from Stutgart, Germany, for visiting the Greek island of Rhodes for 65 times, in the framework of the Repeaters reward program.

Heide Buhrle is a former school teacher, while her husband Armin Buhrle is a pensioner architect. They met a Greek couple from Rhodes that owns a jewellery store in the Medievial town with whom they became close friends and exchange visits throughout the year.

They have travelled all over the world but they consider Rhodes their home. They visit the Greek island two to three times a year in order to relax, as they love the sea and the history of the island.
