While British and Russian fans have turned many French cities into a battlefield, Ireland’s supporters have been a cheery bunch, who love to sing at every opportunity.
First, some Irish football fans started singing with Swedish fans a rendition of ABBA’s “Dancing Queen”. Then they turned the “Our Father” chant into a soccer chant for a nun.
And now, Irish fans are singing lullabies to babies on trains and serenading a French woman.
