Four people drowned off the coast of the Greek island of Lesvos when a dinghy full of refugees capsized, Wednesday morning. The dead refugees are a male, a female and two children, a boy and a girl. According to Mytelene coastguard officers operating in the area, four other people have been rescued, while they said that the boat, which started its journey at Dikeli, was carrying 11 people. A Super Puma, a military ship and a Frontex vessel are taking part in the rescue operations, which saw 6 people saved from drowning. One of the boat passengers is still missing. From early Wednesday coastguards patrolling the waters spotted two plastic boats with migrants and refugees, with 90 people having been rescued in operations so far. Only one refugee has managed to land on islands in the northern Aegean over the past 24 hours.
