After 27 years, Mega Channel aired on Wednesday its last News Segment, marking the end of an era. Tv station continues to broadcast its famous series that viewers still love to watch but the News Department will stop working so the News Segment, as well as every News Show of the channel will not be aired again. The decision of 42 journalists to proceed with the work detention against the Station means practically that no program produced by them can be broadcasted.
This fact actually closes the circle of 27 years of top success. The first News Segment that set out the journey for millions of viewers over the years was broadcasted in November of 1989 with Liana Kaneli as the anchorwoman, whereas the last one was presented by Maria Sarafoglou on the 14th of September 2016.
