A survey conducted by Jet2holidays.com and Atomik showed British children had a particular liking to theme hotels with water slides and trains in Mediterranean sea resort destinations. Greece ranked 4th in the best choices among 1,000 children asked aged between 7 and 13 years old. The findings revealed that the children’s preferences were more or less similar to their parents’. The other countries that made up the top five were Italy, Spain, Portugal and France. Nearly 45% said they wanted a beach in front of the hotel, while 34% replied they wanted water sports and games in the pools and one in five said they loved playing in the sea. 20% said they liked themes related to space, 19% with sea and 17% with princesses.
