According to various sources,the Turkish intelligence service MIT has agents and informers in Greece as well as 38 other countries. Their main objective is to find information about Turkish citizens as well as Turks with dual nationality, hence citizens of other countries, regarding their possible connections with the Gulen movement and the Kurds.
Imams in Thrace, Greece where a Muslim religious minority resides, are doing MIT’s dirty job. There have been reports of hacking as well, with the victims being unable to log in their personal e-mail and social media accounts.
Similar incidents have been reported in Germany and in the Netherlands. Hans-Georg Maaßen stated on the subject that the Turkish secret services will not be allowed to act on German soil.
According to information that came from a Turkish Parliamentary committee, imams in around 38 countries are engaged in such activities. Some of these countries are Abkhazia, Germany, Albania, Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Georgia, the Netherlands, the UK, Sweden, Switzerland, Italy, Japan, Montenegro, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kirghistan, Kosovo, Lithuania, FYROM, Mongolia, Mauritania, Nigeria, Norway, Poland, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Tajikistan, Tanzania, Turkmenistan and Ukraine.
Apart from MIT, members of the now dissolved JITEM, the intelligence agency of the Gendarmerie, accused of black op, murders and an important role in the flooding of Greece and Europe with thousands of refugees and illegal immigrants, are also involved in these operations probably on foreign countries as well.
