Filmmaker Ami Horowitz is known for taking risks in his efforts to expose radical Islam but while filming his most recent video showing the effects of immigration on Sweden, Horowitz claims he was physically assaulted by a group of five migrants.
The incident occurred in the Husby area of Stockholm, a so-called “no-go zone” in the Swedish capital.
The filmmaker claims that he and his crew were almost immediately set upon when they entered Husby, as a gang of five men objected to being filmed. Even though Horowitz was not filming anything, he was seized by the men and dragged off into a nearby building.
“They repeatedly punched, kicked and choked me, as a number of bystanders watched,” Horowitz told The Daily Mail. “Eventually they dragged me into a building, which at the time I assumed was to finish me off.”
“Once inside the apartment building vestibule, they resumed their vicious attack,” He continued. “But seconds later someone opened an apartment door directly above us, and it luckily spooked them enough to run away.”
Although Horowitz was not recording video, the audio of the confrontation was captured as he was wearing a microphone at the time.
