Just a few weeks before the French elections in April, the legendary star Brigitte Bardot stated once again her active support for the right-wing candidate Marine Le Pen.
Brigitte Bardot is 82-years-old now and she lives in Madrague at Saint Tropez, away from the Media and the cinema world, with her husband Bernard d’Ormale.
In an interview she gave to TV Mag, the famous actor argued that “France after 30 years of slackness no longer has the shinning it once had”. She added that “we must find our freedom again, we must find our peace of mind without being afraid of terrorist attacks. We must choose an authoritarian regime. I am not a fascist and Marine Le Pen is not either”.
She argues that “Marine Le Pen has the will to take France in her hands, set the boundaries and promote the interests of the French people”.
The former sex symbol is a dedicated animal rights activist. She, her husband as well as her best friend Alain Delon, are personal friends of Jean Marie Le Pen.
Recently Marine Le Pen in a speech she gave said that “France isn’t burkinis on the beach, France is Brigitte Bardot”.
