The European Commissioner for Economic and Financial Affairs, Taxation and Customs, Pierre Moscovici tweeted that a deal on Greece was feasible. “Agreement on Greece is within reach if all partners engage in good faith. EU Commission will push for this at the Eurogroup in Valletta”, he wrote on his twitter feed. After protracted negotiations between Greece and its creditors to try and reach a compromise on the second review, which would release necessary funds to the embattled country in order to meet its obligations and avoid a default, all parties will meet in Malta in the hope that a deal can be achieved.
