German Tour Operators Altours are consolidating their position in the Greek market after buying out a 4-star hotel Caroline Mare in Malia, Crete. The German company had also recently acquired the 4-star Zorbas Village hotel in Crete. Both hotels, the only ones operating in Crete, will be thoroughly renovated and upgraded next winter to adapt to the Allsun brand quality standards. Allsun operates a oral of 34 hotels after the acquisition of the two assets in Crete, 26 of which are in Majorca and 6 in the Canary islands. Caroline Mare, which is located tight in front of the beach, has been a popular tourist destination for German tourists for many years. The modern hotel complex, built on an area of 28,700 square metres, was renovated 2 years ago and includes 2 adult and 2 children swimming pools, a playground, terraces and 2 bars. The hotel has 237 rooms and offers 3 room categories: spacious 2 beds (18 sq.m), family room (23 sq.m) and the superior room (25 sq,m).
