Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew wished 2018 to be a year of peace for Palestine, Syria and the Middle East while welcoming pupils of the Greek Diaspora schools at Phanar on Monday who sang him Christmas Carols.
The Ecumenical Patriarch referred to the refugees and the Palestinian people’s tragedy and expressed again his support on the preservation of the current status quo in Jerusalem, which as he said, “will be reversed with the recent decisions”.
