Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias is scheduled to meet with the Deputy Prime Minister of FYROM Bujar Osmani next Tuesday in Athens. The Foreign Ministry announced Mr. Kotzias and the visiting Mr. Osmani would discuss matters of mutual interest during a working luncheon. The FYROM politician is also scheduled to meet with Greek Deputy Foreign Minister George Katrougalos during his visit. The Greek Foreign Minister said that the Greek government would support and negotiate a compound name that included the term “Macedonia” used for all purposes while exiting a cabinet meeting examining the issue.
Meanwhile, the UN special representative for the naming dispute between Greece and FYROM, Mathew Nimetz will meet with Greece’s negotiator Adamantios Vasilakis and FYROM’s Vasko Naumovski in New York on January 19.
