A man, who suffered a seizure on a German train, did not receive help from a fellow passenger. Instead he was robbed of his mobile phone.
The 34-year-old man was travelling on a regional train to Aschaffenburg when he suffered a seizure. He was taken to the nearest train station where an ambulance took him to hospital.
While the man was recovering, he noticed his mobile phone was missing. After police checked the train’s video surveillance, they saw that a young man was bending over the helpless victim. Instead of helping him, he robbed him and took his mobile phone.
The incident happened a week before Christmas and now the perpetrator has been identified as a 19-year-old Afghan migrant. Police will hear him and as a suspect he could be charged with theft and not helping a person in need.
