The US embassy in Pristina has announced that the United States do not back the idea of exchanges of territories between Kosovo and Serbia.

“We do not back the exchange of territories or the establishment of precedents which would cause more problems than offer solutions, but all the sides must be creative in finding a solution.

The US continues to offer its strong support for the dialogue brokered by the US between Kosovo and Serbia and encourages both sides to intensify their efforts in normalizing relations”, the press release of the US embassy to Pristina states.
