Ancient sites, archaeological monuments, and priceless artifacts have been destroyed in the course of the ongoing civil war in Syria. The latest “victim” of the conflict was the building of Syria’s central bank in the city of Idlib, as it raised to the ground after an airstrike by Russian jets. Air strikes conducted by the Russian Air Force completely annihilated the Central Bank building which was being used as a command & control centre by Al-Qaeda terrorists.
