Dog embarrasses owner on live TV who claimed canine was vegetarian (video)

Can dogs become vegetarian?

Newsroom September 2 04:24

A dog owner appeared on British TV show “This Morning” along with her pet Storm climbing her pet was vegetarian.
But her claims were soon disproven after her dog embarrassed her live on television.
Storm appeared on the award-winning ITV show with owner Lucy Carrington who told hosts Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford that he was vegetarian.
According to The Mirror, Lucy started giving Storm the Husky leftover veggies and meat-free dog food this summer when the pup started to go off her food in the hot weather.
To prove her claims she put Storm to the test live on air, getting the dog to choose between a bowl of meat and a bowl of veg.
But in an embarrassing turn of events and much to Lucy’s surprise, Storm went straight for the meat, wolfing it down in moments. She barely even looked at the bowl of greens, giving it just a quick sniff.
Lucy, who is not a vegetarian herself, said: “Oh you little.. I didn’t swear. In fairness, the weather has cooled down quite dramatically.”
The hilarious test was part of a wider debate on the show about whether dogs can be vegetarians or not.
