A doctor in Crete who was accused of masturbating while examining a female patient has been charged with a felony. The Agios Nikaloas Public prosecutor charged the man with the felony of sexual abuse of incompetents. The issue came to light when a 25-year-old woman made an official complaint to police that the doctor was masturbating during her medical examination.

The defendant’s lawyer was granted until next Tuesday to present their client’s case, which has drawn great attention in the community. During the course of investigations, local authorities managed to identify three more young patients who had testified that they were harassed by the specific doctor during their medical check-ups.
