Danish police have closed two major bridges to traffic and halted ferry services from Denmark to Sweden and Germany in a major operation, the Copenhagen police said on Twitter on Friday.

The Danish police gave no immediate explanation for their actions in a tweet. They have shut down the Oresund Bridge, which connects Denmark to Sweden, and the Great Belt Bridge that links the Danish islands of Zeeland and Funen.
