A Greek policeman was spotted removing a little tortoise from a busy street in the northern city of Kozani and his act of kindness has been shared by thousands of social media users.

Local site Kozanilife.gr reports that the policeman lifted the small animal on his palms and carefully placed it on the side of the street.
