Serious clashes took place outside the courtroom at the Court of Appeal in Athens between the police and anarchists shortly after one o’clock, where one police officer got wounded.
In the courtroom there was a trial going on regarding a case on September 30, 2012 -when the DELTA special police unit still existed- and it involved clashes during an anti-fascist demonstration.
Outside the courtroom were about 30 anarchists. At around 1 p.m., the anarchists clashed with the police force outside.
Three policemen got injured, one of which had to be transported to the 401 Military Hospital.
The incident came to an end when the anti-riot police arrived on the scene.
