Greek destinations feature at Austrian Alltours Operator roadshow events

The renowned TO has filled the gap left by the collapse of Thomas Cook

Newsroom November 6 01:50

Greek tourist destinations were at the forefront of renowned Austrian Tour Operator Alltours’ presentations of their new summer program, as Tornos News reports.

Greece featured prominently during a series of presentations in the Austrian cities of Vienna, Graz, Velden, and Linz, reaffirming the Austrian holidaymakers’ choice of our country as a top holiday destination.

This trend is expected to continue in 2020, based on bookings and the expanded flight network, as well as talks with travel agents and tour operators from Austria. The Roadshow, dubbed “Alltours Dinnerpartys Summer 2020”, took place from 25 to 30 October 2019 in Vienna and other major cities, with the active participation of the Greek National Tourism Organisation (GNTO) Foreign Service of Austria, which showcased the Greek destinations and the country’s beauties at the events in an effort to promote the tourism industry.

Alltours’ summer program focused on Greek destinations, as the country is at the top of the preferences for Austrian Tour Operators. It includes destinations such as Crete, Rhodes, Kos, Olympic Coast, Halkidiki, Corfu, Samos, Thassos, Mykonos, Santorini, Naxos, and Paros while Athens will be included by 2020.

Following the collapse of Thomas Cook, Alltours filled the gap by responding to increased demand, especially for Greek destinations, expanding its program to include a number of airline sites and hotels previously used exclusively by Thomas Cook.
