Coronavirus Greece: 3,526 cases, 79 deaths

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 3,557 patients have been discharged from the ICU

According to the new data released by Greek authorities, in the last 24 hours 3,526 cases were recorded, of which seven were identified after checks at the country’s entry points.

The total number of cases is 966,221 (daily change + 0.4%), of which 50.5% are men. Based on the confirmed cases of the last 7 days, 94 are considered related to travel from abroad and 2,912 are related to an already known case.

The new deaths of patients with COVID-19 are 79, while since the beginning of the epidemic a total of 18,595 deaths have been recorded. 95.4% had an
underlying disease and/or age 70 years and older.

The number of patients treated by intubation is 715 (61.5% men). Their median age is 64 years. 80.0% has an underlying disease and/or age 70 years and older. Among intubated patients, 570 (79.72%) are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated and 145 (20.28%) are fully vaccinated. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 3,557 patients have been discharged from the ICU.
