Emergency severe weather warning issued by Hellenic National Meteorological Service

The phenomena will start on Monday

The Hellenic National Meteorological Service (HNMS) issued an emergency severe weather warning of the worsening of weather with rain, storms, and strong winds.

Specifically, the weather will deteriorate on Monday (06-12-2021) and Tuesday (07-12-2021), with locally heavy rains, thunderstorms, and very strong to stormy winds forecast.

On Monday in the Ionian islands, Epirus, western Sterea (mainland), and in the afternoon in the western Peloponnese. Local hail will
occur mainly in the Ionian Islands, Epirus, and western Sterea.
