Former PM and leader of main opposition party SYRIZA, Alexis Tsipras was diagnosed positive for the coronavirus, in a molecular test that was submitted on Saturday night.
According to a post on Twitter by the president of SYRIZA, he has mild symptoms, while both his partner Betty Baziana and their children are negative.
Specifically, he tweeted: “In a preventive molecular test I was positive last night. Fortunately, Betty and the kids are negative. I have mild symptoms so far and I hope to be healthy soon.”
PM Mitsotakis wished him a fast recovery via Twitter.
