One of the perpetrators of the brutal murder of Alkis Kampanos in Thessaloniki, a 23-year-old Albanian, is in the hands of the Police.

The 23-year-old is known to the authorities for his “actions” since he is considered a cruel hooligan and is known for a case of violence between fans in 2019, for which the trial is pending.

For the case of the murder of 19-year-old Alkis, the 23-year-old Albanian is expected to be taken tomorrow, Thursday, to the Prosecutor of the Criminal Court of Thessaloniki.

The Albanian who has been identified by the investigators of the Greek Police as the murderer of 19-year-old Alkis, was one of the three suspects who were brought to the Security of Thessaloniki yesterday, Tuesday.

Today, the 23-year-old was arrested after being identified by the video footage as the person who entered and exited the two cars driven by the team of about 10 hooligans who unprovokedly attacked 19-year-old Alkis Kampanos and his two friends, a few meters from the Aris Thessaloniki FC football stadium.

Today, in addition to the verification of the 23-year-old’s involvement from the material of Alkis’s brutal murder that was extracted from the cameras around the murder scene, there was another irrefutable proof.

One of Alkis’s two friends, who were also beaten by the hooligans who killed the 19-year-old student, verified with his testimony that the young man’s killer was the 23-year-old.
