Finally, the mystery about the death of the internationally renowned virologist, Luc Montagnier, in an American hospital in France, is over as the latest information comes to light.
After two days of silence by the French media, with the news of Montagnier’s death “leaking” 48 hours ago, the newspaper “Liberation” finally confirmed the fact from the town hall of Neuilly-sur-Seine, in which the death certificate of the Nobel Prize-winning scientist has been submitted.
Montagnier, 90 (born August 1932), winner of the Nobel Prize in Medicine for his discovery of the AIDS virus in 1983, died at the American Hospital in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France, on Tuesday, February 8, with his children being at his side.
He was a biologist and a virologist. In addition to being awarded the Nobel Prize in Medicine in 2008 for his discovery of the AIDS virus, he has worked at the world’s largest scientific institutes during his lifetime.

In the last years of his life, the famous scientist had made headlines news with his serious statements according to which the coronavirus to be made in a laboratory in China.
“The coronavirus did not come from the Wuhan flea market. This is a very nice myth. The coronavirus came from the Wuhan bio-laboratory. It is the work of professional molecular biologists”, he had stated, causing a stir on social media.
In addition, Montagnier had repeatedly spoken out against the way governments and the scientific community manage the coronavirus pandemic.
He had also expressed opposition to compulsory vaccination against Covid-19, but also openly stated his opposition to vaccinating children against the coronavirus.
