“The Russian army will not stop if it does not achieve its objectives” Shoigu said

"The Ukrainian side does not hesitate to use civilians as human shields," the Russian Defense Minister said

Newsroom March 1 01:16

The Russian military will continue its “special military operation in Ukraine until it achieves its objectives”.

This was stated, according to RIA Novosti, by Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu.

He also noted that the operation is being carried out “for the protection of the population of Donbass, the demilitarization and de-Nazification of Ukraine”.

“Our main concern is to protect the Russian Federation from the military threat posed by Western countries, which are trying to use the Ukrainian people in the struggle against our country”, Shoigu said.
