Coronavirus Greece – 19,705 new cases, 46 deaths, 300 intubated

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 4,389 patients have been discharged from the ICU

Greek authorities announced that 19,705 new cases of coronavirus were recorded on Saturday. The reports said 46 people died from Covid-19.

More than 300 patients are intubated. Of the 349 ICU patients, 224 are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated and 125 are fully vaccinated.

The total number of cases is 2,776,192 (daily change + 0.7%), of which 49.3% are men. Based on the confirmed cases of the last 7 days, 189 are considered to be related to travel from abroad and 1,818 are related to an already known case.

A total of 26,893 deaths have been recorded since the outbreak began. 95.2% had an underlying disease and/or age 70 years and older.

The median age of intubated patients is 69 years. 90.8 % have an underlying disease and/or age 70 years and older. Among intubated patients, 224 (64.18%) are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated and 125 (35.82%) are fully vaccinated.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 4,389 patients have been discharged from the ICU.
