Will Smith reportedly admitted to Rehab Clinic

As reported by the British publication "The Sun"

Newsroom April 8 03:36

Will Smith is rumoured to have been admitted to a Rehab Clinic after his slap on Chris Rock.
The star will seek professional therapy to deal with stress at a celebrity rehab centre following the attack on Chris Rock at the Oscars.

It was a night to not remember for the American actor, who took to the stage to hit the comedian for making fun of the actor’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, who has alopecia.

As reported by the British publication ‘The Sun,’ the artist will spend some time in a rehabilitation facility as a result of this incident. According to the publication, “The impact of the backlash has hit Will hard, so he will be getting help on dealing with stress,” the article writes.

“This is unquestionably the battle of his career. It will be a high-end retreat used by the rich and famous and he will be doing a lot of soul searching and working out how he can move forward,” continued the Sun

In order to rescue his career and reputation, Will Smith is planning on returning as soon as possible, according to a report in The Washington Post. The actor had already been expelled from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences after the assault, despite his official apology.

“I resign my membership in the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and will accept any other consequences that management deems appropriate,” he said recently.

An investigation was launched by the Academy for “inappropriate physical contact, abusive or threatening conduct and compromising the integrity of the Academy,” according to the institution.
