A video where he boasted that he managed to survive a plane crash was enough for YouTuber Trevor Jacob to lose his pilot’s license.
Jacob in the video says that his plane suffered a mechanical failure and he was forced to jump with the parachute.
With so many cameras on the single-engine, however, this didn’t seem to be a coincidence.
Scientists found evidence of an earthquake so big, it drove humans away for 1.000 years
Following the upload of the video on YouTube last December, the Federal Civil Aviation Authority asked Jacob to hand in his pilot’s license.
According to the authority, the video was set up.
The FCAA wrote in a letter to Jacob that it showed “a lack of care, judgment and responsibility, choosing to jump off the plane”. They also accused him of “making this flight in order to intentionally cause the plane to crash”.
First he should have tried to restart his plane and contacted the air traffic control for support or even look for an alternative place to land.
Even more, the service doubts that there was ever a fault in the engine, because Jacob seems to open the door before the propeller starts to slow down.
