Coronavirus Greece – 5,130 cases, 33 deaths and 211 intubated

Among intubated patients, 111 (52.61%) are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated and 100 (47.39%) are fully vaccinated

The new laboratory-confirmed cases of the coronavirus recorded in the last 24 hours in Greece were 5,130. The total number of people who became ill amounts to 3,353,886 (daily change + 0.1%), of which 48.9% are men.

The number of possible new infections recorded in the last 24 hours was 469 while since the beginning of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic the total number is estimated at 125,291 (3.6% of the total number of positive results). The new deaths of patients with COVID-19 are 33, while since the beginning of the epidemic a total of 29,349 deaths have been recorded.

The number of patients treated by intubation is 211 (63.5% men). Their median age is 70 years. 92.4% have
an underlying disease and/or age 70 years and older. Among intubated patients, 111 (52.61%) are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated and 100 (47.39%) are fully vaccinated. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 4,622 patients have been discharged from the ICU.
