“Anyone who touches our vein, we will rip out their heart”, Erdogan’s far right partner threatens Greece

Bahceli accused Greek PM Kyriakos Mitsotakis of wanting to provoke an armed conflict

Newsroom June 7 01:46

President Erdogan’s far-right coalition partner, Devlet Bahceli unleashed a verbal attack and threats against Greece, saying  ‘anyone who touched our vein, we will rip out their heart’, referring to rising tensions between the two countries.

Bahceli accused Greek PM Kyriakos Mitsotakis of wanting to provoke an armed conflict, for which he will “pay the price”.
The extreme right leader levelled direct threats against Greece in the Dodecanese.

“Turkey will not relinquish its rights, it will not allow its rights to be violated. The Greek government is to blame, as it has violated the Lausanne and Paris Treaties as it militarises the islands. It has responsibilities to international law. In addition, the heart and face of the Dodecanese are facing Turkey! Whoever touches our vein, we will rip out his heart,” said Tayyip Erdogan’s far-right partner.

According to Bahceli, on the one hand, Ankara wants the Aegean to be “a sea of peace and tranquility” and on the other hand, he added that otherwise, “only the unfortunate Mitsotakis and his government will pay the price.”

Bahceli described the Greek prime minister as an instrument of foreign powers “like his grandparents” and that he made provocations “to create a climate of armed conflict”.

“Mitsotakis, like his grandparents, has become an instrument of foreign powers and with his actions and rhetoric is pushing the situation over the edge. Visiting the islands whose sovereignty is in question is an attempt to challenge Turkey and are in front of our noses. He is trying to make provocations to create a climate of armed conflict if necessary as he wants to make the Aegean the Greek sea.”
