Ronaldo goes on “indefinite leave” as Man Utd curse “awful” timing amid transfer rumours

Ronaldo has asked the Red Devils to let him leave should they receive a "satisfactory offer" in the current transfer window

Newsroom July 5 11:01

Man Utd have no idea when Cristiano Ronaldo will return to training amid speculation over his future at the club, according to reports.

Widespread reports on Saturday claimed that the Portugal international has his heart set on summer move away from Old Trafford this summer.

The Times insisted that Ronaldo has asked the Red Devils to let him leave should they receive a ‘satisfactory offer’ in the current transfer window.

Chelsea, Napoli and Barcelona are amongst the clubs being linked with Ronaldo but Man Utd are understood to be strong in their stance that he is going nowhere.
