Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis visited the “Eleftherios Venizelos” International Airport of Athens where he had the opportunity to talk with members of the Airport staff as well as travellers.
The PM ran into a group of English-speaking tourists and a lighthearted and funny interaction ensued. The young ladies listened to what the Mitsotakis had to say without knowing who was addressing them.
The following dialogue was recorded:
Kyriakos Mitsotakis: “I’m glad you had a good time, tell your friends, and come again next year.”
Tourists: “Who should we tell them we met?”
Kyriakos Mitsotakis: “Say that you met the Prime Minister of Greece”.
Tourists: “You’re kidding!”, they said and screamed with the prime minister answering them: “You can also take a picture with me”.
