Rains and storms in Attica for five days

Athens will experience autumn conditions today and throughout the week gradually across the country, a rare phenomenon in August.

The atmospheric disturbance located northwest of our country over the wider Adriatic region is expected to cause widespread atmospheric instability with rains and storms in a large part of the central and northern mainland of the country for the second day. The main features of the weather during Monday 22/08 will be rains and storms mainly in Epirus, Thessaly, Macedonia, Upper Sterea (including Attica), Upper Peloponnese, and locally in Thrace.
